Information about the vocational training program
As a technical product designer specializing in machine and plant design, you will represent and design components and assemblies, create technical documents and design components in a way that is suitable for materials, production and assembly. In addition, you will implement design processes and conceptualize and design technical products with the help of state-of-the-art computer-aided 3-D drawing programs.
The training takes three and a half years. The theory is taught at the vocational college in Nuremberg, the practical phase at the LEONI site in Roth.
Future fields of work: process engineering, facility management.
What you will bring to this role
- Strong technical understanding and enjoyment of mathematics and physics
- IT affinity, spatial imagination as well as creativity and enthusiasm for the technical planning of products
- Team spirit and sense of responsibility
- “Mittlere Reife” (roughly equivalent to GCSE in the UK or a junior high school diploma), a vocational college diploma or a high school diploma
