Planned Program Structure

The internship is designed as a 6-month international experience in three phases:

Onboarding in Kitzingen, Germany (~ around 2 months)
Get to know LEONI, our production processes, and our automation strategy. You’ll be onboarded and supported by our local teams.
Hands-on experience in Tunisia (~ around 2 months)
Work directly in one of our plants in Tunisia and experience automation and digitalization in real-life production environments. You’ll contribute to ongoing projects and explore how we can scale best practices globally.
Wrap-up in Kitzingen, Germany (~ around 2 months)
Share your insights, present your findings, and help us translate your experience into concrete actions.

分享您的见解与收获，展示项目成果，并协助我们将您的经验转化为可落地的行动方案。

Your Tasks

As part of this international internship program, you’ll actively contribute to LEONI’s digital transformation journey. Your key responsibilities include:

Analyze existing tools and systems at LEONI to identify where artificial intelligence and digitization could enhance automation, efficiency, or decision-making
Contribute to our digital transformation roadmap and help shape the future of smart manufacturing

What We’re Looking For

You are currently enrolled at a German university
You are pursuing a degree in a relevant technical field or similar (e.g. Automation Technology, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering)
You have working proficiency in both Mandarin and English
You are tech-driven and demonstrate analytical thinking
You are open to intercultural experiences and global collaboration
You are available for the full 6-month internship period
